5 reasons why Kim Jong-Il did not visit the South for a return Leaders Summit:

• There are too many ‘bullet’ taxis on the roads (Korea is famous for ’bullet taxis’ or chongal taksi, which are notoriously fast).
• There are too many ‘cannon houses’ (’cannon house’ or daepo jip is a popular colloquial term for the many orange colored soju tents in Korea’s cities)
• There are too many ‘military soup’ signboards on the streets (’military soup’ or budae jigae is a popular dish in Korean cafes and can be found just about anywhere)
• In bars there are too many ‘bomb’ alcoholic drinks’ (a ‘bomb alcoholic drink’ or poktan ju is beer mixed with soju - a must for every visitor to Korea)
• Every house has a ‘nuclear’ family - you know, the same as in English.
