As always, very precise Richardson. He is not responsible, per se. However, he does reference Syria-DPRK cooperation, in relation to the current diplomatic efforts was in his 31 August piece in the WSJ. BBC diplomatic correspondent Jonathan Marcus questioned him regarding this, in light of the Israeli strike, and he was not forthecoming on the source. Perhaps some eager journos or Mossad spin-doctors taken this tid-bit and run for the goal?

The WaPo is reporting that the Israelis supplied imagery and other intel on this. While Mossad can’t (IMO) be completely trusted, I don’t see any evidence that Bolton is in any way responsible for the current reporting.

John Bolton has done for relationships on the peninsula what the Casio keyboard has done for classical music. Very little.

Of course, much in the same way that the Casio keyboard was able to render your average tone deaf, mute, deadshit, a self-appointed one fingered authority on all things Mozart, Bolton has become a seasoned jazz musician. He likes to share the stage with some of the greats. And his instrument of choice? A one-note pitch pipe. In fact, I think he’s just arrived on stage for a set now….
