The Six-Party nuclear talks scheduled to commence 19 September 2007, have been postponed.
Japan’s NHK has stated that China was unable to obtain Pyongyang’s consent for a new round of talks. Kyodo has quoted a South Korean official as stating that the North wants to hold the talks after the inter-Korean Summit scheduled for 2-4 October, and Bloomberg is reporting that the talks have been postponed to allow for the completion of the report from the US, China and Russia, visit to the Yongbyon nuclear facility… and my bet is on… a delay due to the Israel-Syria-North Korea connection!
