As Roh heads North for the Summit, some sobering statistics have come out on German unification. Apparently, around one in five Germans want the Berlin Wall back!
Emnid, an opinion research firm, found that around 19 percent of respondents to a poll thought the country was better off when it was divided and 21 percent were nostalgic for the actual wall itself.
The findings also include the fact that 74 percent of easterners had felt like second-class citizens since Germany since unification occurred in October 1990.
There is much to be learnt about the social problems that will (and continue to) affect North Korean social status in South Korea.
