North Korean prediction season…

November 16th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Seems like everyone is making predictions on the future of North Korea at the moment. The end of December is after all a decisive point when we will have a slightly better idea as to whether North Korea has really made a political and strategic decision to give up its nuclear weapons program.

According to a colleague in the UK, a London based strategic consultancy firm by the name of Intelligence Research Ltd has stated that it is inevitable that there will be major changes on the peninsula by the end of the decade…  their prediction is that the leadership will change in the not too distant future and that North Korea will ultimately be unable to survive the demise of the Kim Jong-Il regime… hmmmmm… have they been reading Lankov???

Anyone have any leads to any more North Korea predictions?

Why doesn’t somebody just send a McKinsey squad in to figure it out? ;)
